In continuous operation since June 1965 Wayne County Speedway is now managed by Ernie Coffman and associates. The track is approximately a large 3/8ths mile, wide straights that allow side by side high speed action out of the long sweeping semi banked corners. Clay would be stretching the definition but the surface is almost always smooth and raceable and with a little help from a westerly breeze can be dust free for the audience. The concession food and prices are said to be on the mend, I hold high hopes but am taking a wait and see attitude on this subject and the restrooms and portapots are adequate.

Good or bad this has always been the number one track for me.
